At Places | Moments, each hat is produced in limited quantities and crafted with premium materials. Because of this, our return and exchange policy is intentionally strict and clearly defined.
Please review the policy below before placing your order.
Returns
We offer a 30 day money back guarantee, subject to the conditions outlined below.
Unopened Items Only

Items may only be returned if the inner product packaging has not been opened

You may open the shipping box to inspect the item

If the protective bag or seal containing the hat is opened, the item is no longer eligible for return, unless there is a verified defect
If the packaging is opened and there is no issue with the product, the item cannot be returned.
Return Shipping Responsibility
If a return is approved, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer, at our discretion.
In certain cases, Places | Moments may provide a prepaid return label. This determination is made on a case by case basis, depending on the nature of the return.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a hat that is defective or damaged upon arrival, we will gladly exchange it.
Examples include, but are not limited to:

Structural defects

Detached or damaged patches or lettering

Manufacturing issues affecting normal use
To qualify:

Contact us within 30 days of delivery

Provide clear photo or video proof showing the issue immediately after opening
Once approved, we will replace the item at no cost to you.
Wear & Tear Guarantee (30 Days)
We stand behind our craftsmanship.
If within 30 days of delivery your hat experiences a failure that is outside of normal wear and tear, we will replace it.
This includes issues such as:

Materials coming apart unexpectedly

Stitching or lettering failing under normal use
This does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or extreme activities

Damage caused intentionally or through improper handling

Normal wear from regular use
If the damage was not caused by misuse and falls outside reasonable wear expectations, we will replace the item.
Exchanges
Direct Exchanges (Change of Mind)
We do not guarantee direct exchanges for change of mind.
You may request a direct exchange by contacting us, but approval is not guaranteed and is granted at our discretion based on availability and condition.
Exchanges for Defects
If your item arrives defective or develops a qualifying issue as described above, we will approve an exchange automatically once verified.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return:

Returns or exchanges sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Refunds
If a return is approved:
